Hello !

Here's the first update in a year or so...I should feel ashamed..and I am, in fact;) but anyway, let's move on.

.nude's third album "The sky here always looks so sad" has been released in November 2003. On the day of a gig with the sweet Julie doiron who accepted to sing on " Allergic to love" (by her ex-band Eric's trip) with me on stage...definately a highlight in .nude's history...feels weird to sing a song you sang so many times under your shower with the person who recorded it...weird, weird...but super nice...we'll try and put the video of that on the site..as soon as we find a decent web storage place;)

Since that gig in November, nothing much happened for .nude, too busy with my other project Alisse and another one called 8ISthehour.

But the 4th .nude album should be finished for september. Most of the songs are already written but still need to be recorded. I'm not too sure yet about inviting people on the album or not, as it was the case with the third one...What I can say is that it'll be home-recorded by me, on my four-track but mixed on PC. The songs of the album all come from different periods of .nude's history...stuff i'm trying to record for a super logn time and other stuff that i recently wrote.

Two songs are already recorded ("greenfield" and "freeze the singles") with the help of our friend Marco of Superbox (on voice and guitar) but those versions will probably be released on a compilation, leaving the solo versions I have for the album...nothing is sure yet...

As people may have noticed, we now play quite often with Half Asleep and it's a really nice experience to have a full band for .nude which used to always be a solo act...it's nice to be accompanied by such talented people...

Last but not least, .nude recorded a song for a Tribute to the Posies ("solar sister" - acoustic version)...more about that soon. All we know is that 500 copies will be pressed !!:)
